A space to spend the day together
The aft deck is a natural gathering place for eating and conversation. The elevated flybridge brings another outlook across the water, so the boat itself becomes part of the experience rather than just transport between sights.
Life’s Good can accommodate up to 25 guests. Tell us about your group and occasion when enquiring so we can explain the layout and help you decide whether it suits the day you want.
Your food, your music, your pace
BYO food and drinks are available, or you can discuss catering. The onboard BBQ and crew cooking arrangements are planned before departure. Prepare a menu that works for your group and ask about storage, serving and dietary requirements.
The Fusion sound system lets music be part of the outing. Have your playlist ready and check device connection arrangements with the team. The crew manages suitable volume levels and any limits around other harbour users.
A swim when the conditions are right
Swimming and the swim mat can be part of the charter discussion. They are optional activities, with the stopping place and timing decided by the skipper. An itinerary that allows time for a suitable stop gives the crew more flexibility.
Bring towels if you hope to swim and follow the crew’s instructions. If someone in the group has a particular access or comfort requirement, let us know before booking so we can discuss the vessel and the planned activities.
Know the details before you board
Exclusive Boats advertises a four-hour charter option for Life’s Good. Confirm the duration, pickup and drop-off points, guest count and all inclusions in your written quote. Pricing is confirmed for your specific date and plans.
You do not need to drive or arrange a skipper: this is a crew-operated private charter. Share your preferred sights and bays, and the team will discuss a route that fits the vessel, conditions and time booked.
Is Life’s Good right for your event?
Think about how your guests will spend their time rather than choosing by maximum capacity alone. The 40ft powered catamaran offers a social setting for conversation, music and a meal. A smaller group does not need to fill all 25 places; a larger group should discuss the layout and meal format so expectations are clear.
Tell the team about children, mobility requirements and any particular seating or boarding concerns. Photographs help introduce the vessel but cannot confirm that it meets every access need. Explain the event style too: an informal lunch is different from an occasion needing formal presentations or specialist equipment. Have unusual requests checked before making purchases.
Your boat hire checklist
Confirm duration, wharves, guest count, food and drinks, cooking, serving items and any extras in the booking details. Ask about storage before packing a BYO menu and prepare your playlist before departure. Keep supplies manageable and arrive using the confirmed meeting instructions, rather than assuming a featured harbour location is your boarding point.
For route planning, choose a few views and one main activity. The skipper decides suitable stopping places and whether swimming is appropriate. Captain Matt’s page explains that role, while our guides give you practical ways to plan birthdays, team events and a slower harbour afternoon. A clear brief helps the team tailor Life’s Good to your group.
