Your charter questions, answered.
The practical details for a private cruise aboard Life’s Good, from BYO and boarding to routes and booking.
The boat & your group
How many people can come aboard?
Life’s Good accommodates up to 25 guests. Tell us the group size when you enquire so we can confirm the right setup for your event. For a smaller gathering, the same private boat gives your group more room to spread out.
Is the boat just for our group?
Yes. This is a private charter aboard Life’s Good, rather than tickets on a shared sightseeing cruise. The skipper and crew operate the vessel while your guests enjoy the day together.
Do we drive the boat ourselves?
No. Life’s Good is offered as a skippered charter. The crew manages the vessel, navigation and decisions about suitable stops. You do not need to arrange a boating licence for a guest to drive.
Can children join a family cruise?
Tell us the number and ages of children before booking. We will discuss whether the arrangements suit your group, including any lifejacket requirements. Adults remain responsible for supervising the children in their party.
Can guests with mobility needs come aboard?
Please explain any boarding or mobility needs before committing to a booking. We need to check the vessel layout, steps, wharf and assistance required; step-free or wheelchair access should not be assumed.
Food, drinks & your day onboard
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, BYO food and drinks are available for Life’s Good. Tell us what you plan to bring so we can explain the arrangements and any relevant conditions in your quote. Ask about storage and serving needs before packing for the whole group.
Is catering available?
You can discuss catering instead of, or alongside, BYO. Availability, menu choices, minimum numbers and costs need to be confirmed for your date. Let us know about allergies and dietary requirements when enquiring.
Can we have a BBQ onboard?
Life’s Good has a BBQ, and the crew can assist with cooking. Confirm the food and cooking arrangements with us beforehand so the meal fits your itinerary. BBQ availability does not mean food is automatically supplied.
Can we play our own music?
Life’s Good has a Fusion sound system. Ask about connecting your device before the cruise, prepare your playlist and download it for offline use. The crew can explain suitable volume levels while cruising or stopped near other boats.
Will we be able to swim?
Swimming and the swim mat can be discussed when planning your charter. Whether a swim happens depends on the skipper’s assessment of conditions, the stopping place and local restrictions. Bring towels if you hope to swim, and follow the crew’s instructions.
What should we bring?
Bring sun protection, a hat, a light layer, your agreed food and drinks, and towels if swimming is planned. Check footwear and storage arrangements with the team. Keep valuables secure and pack so the deck remains easy to move around.
Routes, times & boarding
How long is a charter?
Exclusive Boats advertises a four-hour Life’s Good charter option. If you want another duration, ask us to confirm what is available for your date and occasion. The available time affects how many locations and stops can realistically fit.
Can we choose the route?
Tell us the sights or bays you would most like to include. We will discuss a practical itinerary for your departure wharf and charter length. The skipper may adapt it for weather, traffic or access restrictions. Our location guides are ideas, not a fixed route or a promise of every stop.
Where do we board?
The pickup and drop-off wharves are agreed as part of the booking. Confirm the exact meeting point before sending invitations. Wharf suitability, availability and any charges must be checked; a location featured on this site is not automatically a boarding point.
When should we arrive?
Exclusive Boats asks guests to arrive at least 15 minutes before departure. Use the confirmed meeting instructions, allow time for transport and gather the group before the scheduled start. Contact the team if you are unsure which wharf entrance to use.
Can we land on an island or visit a restaurant?
Shore visits are not included by default. They require suitable vessel access, enough time and sometimes separate permissions, bookings or landing fees. Discuss any proposed landing before booking; the destination guides distinguish scenic passes from shore access.
Quotes & bookings
How much does Life’s Good cost to hire?
Request a quote for your preferred date, number of guests, duration and plans. Your written quote should confirm vessel hire, wharf arrangements, catering or BYO conditions and any extras. This site does not publish a fixed rate because the final package needs to match your booking.
How do we confirm a booking?
Start with an availability enquiry. We will discuss your plans and provide the booking arrangements. Check the quote, payment schedule, any bond and the booking terms before paying; an enquiry alone does not reserve the boat.
What happens if the weather is poor?
The skipper assesses operating conditions. Ask for the weather and cancellation terms with your quote so you understand what applies to your booking. Do not assume rain automatically means a refund, postponement or cancellation.
Can you organise a birthday or corporate event?
Yes. Exclusive Boats caters for birthdays, family gatherings, work events, Christmas parties and other private occasions. Share the event type and any particular requirements so the team can check suitability and tailor the charter.
Does the availability form make an instant booking?
No. It opens an email enquiry to Exclusive Boats. Availability and pricing are confirmed by the team, and the date is not reserved until the booking requirements have been completed.
